BigGun1
Wednesday at 4PM as a spur of the moment thing I ordered a hushpower .410 silencer for my W&S BA. It arrived thismorning! Superb service or what! anyhow, turned the boss down on the lathe at work (getting lots of funny looks from everyone else there!!) and belted it on to the end of my barrell!!! couldn't have done it better, true as a die! tried 4 2" cartridges through it, 2 with and 2 without the moderator............WOW!!!! still makes a good POP but SO much quieter!!!! cant wait to try it with subsonic ammo!!!! HOORAY FOR HUSH POWER + the saddlery and gun room!!!! anyone else had good experiances with them, how do you find them to shoot???
Zapp
I too have a W&S B/A .410 with a Hushpower silencer. Once you get used to the fact your gun is now immensely muzzle heavy, you will find it to ba a superb tool. ZB
*NickH*
I have a fully moderated Hushpower Baikal .410 and it is superb, easy to shoot with and effective range is better than I thought. Very quiet with subsonic carts. I have a friend who added a hushpower mod to his B/A Webley .410 however he couldn't get any subsonic carts as could only find them in 3" and the Webley is only 2 3/4" chambers? dunganick
the saddlery+gun room are the biggest rip off merchants in the world, they want silly money for guns, unfortunatly they are the only people to sell NEW hush powers wouldnt recomend touching them with a barge pole if you can help it. cartridges are a good price in there though. Oh Harsh words.....but I agree on the prices!!!! well steep, but can't argue with the products! Oh and using a 2" cartridge seems to keep the noise down nicely! BigGun1
i have allways wanted a .410 hushpower for close range rabbit shooting Do It!! Get one! I have been out tonight and bagged 3 bunnies in a rather noise sensative area, got home to a message on the answer machine '**** night then, didn't hear you take a single shot, still there allways next time' had to phone him up and put him right! turns all that BANG it to a strange sort of a clink noise, about as loud as my HW57 but different. Great Eh!
vole
Hi BG.I use a Pedretti Hushpower 12g which is light and a potent bit of kit.Am trying to get good enough to head shoot rabbit as a f/choked round does make a mess.Shot a squirrel on the ground last week and it literally buried most of it under the soil.Love my hushpower and use it daytime and weekends when the horseriders are about.Find I have to aim about a foot higher at about 20 yards tho.Being a folding gun you can hang it on fence when you cross.Have found the Saddlery and gunroom nothing but helpful i admit.Jon very patient guy.I always use subs.glad you too are an enthusiast.Happy shooting.
