Darling, don't you even have a book? Take her temperature, call your vet, be sure you have proper whelping equipment, I'm sure the breeders will come to your rescue, but be prepared!

Can't wait to see puppy pictures! Hang on, this will be fun.

I have had three bitches have litters, not one has come on the "due date".

Two were late by 4-7 days and the other was a few days early.

If the bitch is well and doesn't seem to be fretful, I would let things take there normal course.

Should her condition give you cause for alarm, then contact the Vet.

Owners have more problems with their bitches whelping, than the bitches. :good:

Hi my jr bitch was due to have pups on wednesday, i went to clean the dogs out yesaday morning when i noticed the bitches ****e was runny and glomy next thing i hear the sound of a wimmpering .

i found a pup just born and a massive dog pup dead, she didn't show any signs of going down or anything the day before and she was 5 days early. This is her first and last litter, she had another pup at 3:45 which is a long time between pups.

Any way 1 of the pups didn't seem to be feeding properly so i been to emergancey vets to get powder milk and suringes to feed to weak pup (every 2-3 hrs ) so she gets fit enough to feed herself off the bitch, its going be another longgggggggggg nite lol
