wymberley
Looking out the kitchen window waiting for the kettle to boil first thing when it was chucking it down and blowing a houli and there was one of our resident pigeons sitting on the fence. It was head into wind when it turned 45 degrees to its right and lifted its left wing. After a few seconds it lowered the wing and gave it a few flaps and had a good old shake and repeated the process after turning to the left and raising the right wing. This whole thing was then repeated a couple of times and I realised that it was having a shower.
Walker570
Yep, we have two very fat well fed woodies in our yard and they often will have a 'shower' if it is raining. Looks like they are disco dancing sometimes as they try to keep their footing on the trellis work above the feeders. I don't think they venture outside the yard confines as they always seem to be there and roost in our covered barbecue.
