pinfireman
Does anyone have one of these machines from the late 60,s to early 70,s? I have one, but cannot find a model number on it. I,m looking for a copy of the owners / parts manual. It,s a lonf shot, I know, but I,d like to get it back into service, it,s built like a brick toilet! I had two Texans a M series progressive and an L Series single stage , i still have the single stage its an LT and black in color, the progressive was A bronze color and looked powder coated . It worked well was reliable and did a good crimp, i would say the Texans are good basic machines no frills they just work. I still use the LT load 3.5 inch on it with nothing more than minor adjustment on occasion and it does a nice crimp. I remember my M model well only sold it about ten years ago, so if you need any advice on anything ill try and help however they are straight forward and doubt you will meet any complications setting it up if you have it all there. pinfireman
Thanks for that info, and your kind offer. I,ve had a Texan FW in the past, which I gave away last year to a newbie to reloading, it was a good, solid machine. The M series I have here seems to be complete, except for primer tube being missing. It is red, although somewhat dirty, so I will have it blasted and powder coated in the same shade.... I have quite a few old machines, and I enjoy bringing them back into use. I also have a few Ponsness machines.
