Gordon R
I first met Harry nearly 40 years ago, at Edgeworth Clay Pigeon Club. He also ran North West Guns on Blackburn Road Bolton, where they sold "Honest Mac" Gamebore shells and boasted that they would take anything in part exchange - citing bags of manure and a Rolls Royce. He was a cabinet maker by trade and specialised in gun woodwork, although he did my first couple of choke alterations. Always helpful, he didn't enjoy good health in the last few years. I believe he did work for Bamfords and Malmo. I last saw him in Malmo's shop about 8 years ago. He didn't look particularly well even then. I had spoken to his wife a couple of years before that, who said he was quite ill. He will be missed.
