Screws are on the scruffy side but a very functional gun still. Lovely old English lightweight side by side, always strikes up a conversation on a clay shoot. I spoke to my local auction house and they seemed unenthusiastic to say the least (I think they prefer furniture/antiques). Taking it to a gun auction like Holts seems a lot of effort for a for a £4-£500 gun. To get it there and then pay fees I'd rather sell face to face and take an offer.
