Gun Watch Posted May 6, 2019 Report Share Posted May 6, 2019 Martini-Henry Converted rifle £850 410 Shotgun Trade Seller Used - Average Condition Kettering , Northamptonshire Martini action , Skeet, -, 30" barrels Description Where do I start!!! 14 1/4 pull to the Only trigger Originally a Martini Henry service rifle from the 1880’s Converted to 303 in the early 1900’s then converted to 303 nitro prior to WW2 Now bored 410 2 inch chamber Nitro proof Original forend wood with original bayonet fixing and barrel bands Original ladder rear sight ( although the slider is loose) The stock is off a later Martini from WW2 era we believe We may well have a better match of stock if the buyer wishes to swap it ( pictures on request) I’ve seen a few of these Henry’s Never one this good It has some light pitting on the outside of the barrel, but so would you if you’d had all then bladdy spears chucked at you The bore is mint Spotless What a bit of English history Well over 100 years old Chance in a lifetime!!!!!!!!! getthegat Posted May 25, 2019 Report Share Posted May 25, 2019 I remember dad have 3 of those, one bored to 410, another to 20 gauge and the other a .22 rifle with prismatic sights.
