  1. Stunning pictures and brings back many a memory for me. I loved an American Road trip. Perfect
  2. I read that one too. I’d be done for. I collect knives and make knives. Not from any maniacal perspective. Simply because I use them daily and I find them interesting. Next they’ll be emptying out the garage because I have garden tools, saws, axes, sledge hammers etc. I don’t see a problem with chatting to family members. There does, however, have to be some common sense employed.
  3. Pigeon breast can be as tender and flavourful as fillet steak. Lovely and pink, it’s up there with my favourite meats. Never really liked pheasant, I always find it a bit bland. I like a farm goose and duck. I enjoy the dark meat. I only ever had guinea fowl once as a kid but remember it being lovely. Moorhen and Coot is hanging. Wouldn’t give it to my dogs. Not a game bird but I once ate Gannet. Soaked in brine I think. That was absolutely gopping.
  4. Looks like I’ll be popping into Halfords. Cheers Gents 👍🏻
  5. I have a few socket sets. Not brilliant ones but do the job for light weight stuff. I’m now looking for a robust set that would last a long time. Ideally a set that I could use on my impact drivers and air guns. It’s a mind field. Is it really worth paying mac tools and snap on prices or would a half decent Bahco set do the job. I remember them being good years ago but not so sure now. i don’t really have a set budget but I’d be in the hundreds rather than the thousands.
  6. Again - your scran always looks delicious and just what I fancy. I love southern fried chicken
  7. Mucky pork drippin is gorgeous
  8. He is absolutely sublime in this film
  9. Now that is a breakfast fit for a king, nobleman, knight, peasant….anyone (maybe not a vegan but we don’t talk about them). Right up my street that
  10. It seems that may very well be the case these days.
  11. And I thought all religions taught moderation, forgiveness and acceptance.
  12. I’m popping around for tea
  13. Sweet baby Jesus that looks sumptuous
  14. I do like a posh sausage but a filthy Richmond has its place. Just like a dirty burger from a van, or some greasy southern fried chicken, kebab or a microwaved pizza. Usually at 3.00am in the morning or to cure the head after a night on the lash.
  15. I’m sorry to say that a Richmond sausage butty is literally my turn to hangover breakfast. Additive riddled white bread, filthy Richmond and ketchup. Love it.
  16. Looks absolutely gorgeous. Belly pork is top grub.
  17. Friend had an Alaskan malamute. Most stubborn dog I have ever met but in an endearing way. His slept out in all weathers and would actively seek out the coldest spot. They do not feel the cold in the slightest and often prefer being rained on and out in all weathers.
  18. Not sad - looks perfect .
  19. A genuinely lovely bloke. Really sad news.
  20. This - it’ll be a bonus for me. Hopefully won’t have to rely on it. This is what my Father did. 11 years in the navy, 11 as a reserve. Then 30 years in the police to get the long service pension and a lump sum pay out when he retired at 56. He was much older than my mum and passed 14 years ago. My mum still gets a police widows pension which is half of what he got. It’s quite sizeable considering.
  21. I had nine in a so called seven gun brattonsound cabinet. The police were only interested in the safe door being locked and secured, not the number of guns in it. All checked and satisfactory when my license was renewed.
  22. Love pea and ham soup Fussy ain’t ya
