smokingdragon
After my positive visit by the FLO on Thurday evening I popped over to my neighbour to ask if he could recommend any clay clubs in my area. He named a few and then asked if I was interested in coming down to his shoot on Saturday morning to help with the pheasant pens!! Pheasant pens? I asked, Yes- we've got 800 birds going out in 3 weeks, if you're interested you could do some beating and if you like it we might have a vacancy for a gun! Went down this morning, about 10 miles away, over 1000 acres of mixed farm land including ducks and pheasant and woodpigeon!!!! After helping out I've been invited back! I just can't believe my luck, it was fascinating as well as a good work out. Good luck to everyone else Simon
