Dazv
Hi all I'm after a bit of advice I've just bought a 3shot norica bolt action and I can't seem to get to grips with loading the thing. It seems like you have to stick one in the chamber and play around with the other 2 shells to get them in the mag then have to hold them down so you can slide the bolt forward. Am I missing a trick with this gun as it seems far too fiddly to be a design feature. Any help is greatly appreciated darren
Opossum
If it's like the Mossberg bolt action it's the design feature. You'll get the hang of it but yeah it's fiddly. I think it's the same fiddly-ness as a bolt action top-fed rifle, it's just they tend to have five or more rounds in the mag so you're less likely to need to stuff an extra one in the chamber
Dazv
Hi pal, ah right that's a shame like you said I'll probably get used to it but it doesn't help that I've got hands like a mole. maybe I need to stick some oil in the mag to make it less sticky? Thanks for the reply
Ricko
I've not shot mine with three carts for a while, I think I put two in the 'mag' onevat a time, slip one in the chamber and carefully slide the bolt shut over the two in the 'mag'. Good fun to use on squirrels or the rolling rabbit at the clay ground.
Dazv
Does your mag have the ability to lock down so you don't need to hold the carts down by hand in order to slide the bolt forward? Yeah I know what you mean there's something really fun about a
