MARSH GUN
For sure a good three or four years earlier than the salt guns they were 67/68.

figgy
Watched a video or two on the salt guns. A ex Browning gunsmith was inspecting and putting some of the right. Not all were bad, some stunning high grade guns among them.
Harnser
I to watched a video of the salt guns and some of them were badly corroded around the actions . It makes you wonder why browning tried to cure their stock blanks in salt . Iknow they couldn’t get enough cured walnut blanks for their production needs , but curing in salt ? figgy
Some were ruined. Makes you wonder, who sanctioned it. But looking at them now they're all very old guns so have lasted longer than I thought a salted gun would. I looked at some and thought they look better than Browning's today.
