malkiserow
In my area they are not interested in the wheat yet (if that is what your on) because the rape and barley are too easy. Maybe yours are similar? cheers Malk
Ferret Master
If they are 'scared' then perhaps they can see you in your hide. FM

smokinbarrels
Don't worry about it, i had a fantastic day on Monday....went out today and didn't get a thing. The birds wern't interested in my decoys or feeding in the field i was shooting. All i can put it down to is the wind was light, more food available in another field AND A BLOODY GREAT BIG GAS BANG THAT HAD BEEN WORKING FOR ABOUT 3 HOURS BEFORE I TURNED UP!!! Better look next time Q
Cranfield
If birds approached your decoys, but would not come close enough for a shot, or showed no sign of landing, then there was something wrong with your layout, or your hide. Check your hide first, make sure you can't be seen and don't move until you are going to shoot. If thats OK, then perhaps move your decoys a bit further from your hide, change the pattern, try something new.
