Glasgow308
Hello, Pretty new to shooting, did the DSC1 and a lot of research before buying a used Remington 700 in 308 last week from a shop in Glasgow. My first shot on the gun caused the ATec moderator to split in half and land 40 yards away. It was screwed on tight and there's no damage at the exit hole, but the thread which joins the two parts together has been sheared. Those two parts were ceased together before. Anyone have any idea what happened? And any thoughts on what the retailer should do when I take it back? I don't know what the deal is with faulty used goods. Thanks! Jason_ox
Take it back to the shop, it should of lasted at lot longer than 1 shot! If you don’t get anywhere with that give Jackson rifles a call, explain the situation with the Atec mod. I have heard they will give up to 40% off a new Atec mod if you send them your old Atec mod.
