BTMS
Duck Catcher, Know the feeling I will be out this weekend come hell or high water. There are a few pigeons about at the moment but they have a lot to choose from, so it will be hard but peaceful Aye Brian
Suffolk shooter
Duck Catcher, I know of a pea field that is still growing and yet to be harvested near me that I found at the weekend. I am trying to find out who owns it to see if I can get some action. Sounds a daft idea, but seeing as there are farmers/labourers everywhere harvesting, politely wait until the tractor trailer driver or combine driver comes to the edge of the field and beckon him over. Ask if they have a requirement for pest control of Pigeons or rabbits and start from there. I have done this on more than one occassion and mostly (in suffolk due to the large amount of shooters in a small rural county) you get I already have somebody or you may get a yes. Remember to dress smart and ask politely. They can only say no. Best of Luck There are a number of us that live very close in and around the Ipswich/North Essex area. I am sure that given a bit of time and you coming along to a clay shoot or two with us, something can be sorted out There is one at Wattisham Gun CLub (On the airbase) for the last saturday of the month if you would like to come as my guest (Two of the guys who run it are on here).. All the guys I have met on here, are a good laugh, serious about their shooting and most of all insane The last bit being an extremely important part. What part of Ipswich are you?
