dusk2dawn
People just getting spooked? Let's hope so. They are certainly taking it seriously, its too close for comfort I know the farm well and have shot pigeon on land up to a mile away from it. If its confirmed it will be a disaster for some of the marsh sheep farmers who havnt recovered fully from the restrictions on stock movements from last time. All we can do is keep away and hope for the best. I wonder about the wisdom of allowing caravaners on the CLs that some farms run, after all most caravans travel quite some distance across the country often from one farm certified location to another and could possibly carry the disease. Cranfield
Its not far from me and the Farmer who has the sheep in the meadow behind our cottage, told me yesterday that it was a precaution and the Ministry Vet is 99.0% certain everything is OK, but they have to wait for the tests to come back.
