spurs 14
Have heard of them , think they are Italian , but I doubt you will find anyone who’s had one I certainly wouldn’t know of any , think you might be better sticking with something like a Ruger ,
impala59
I have a Sabatti auto 1822 carbine which operates the same as a Ruger 1022, in fact the magazines are interchangeable. It is a solid well made and accurate rifle, if a little uninteresting. I have modified mine more for the hell of it than anything else. I will post some pictures tomorrow. It was very cheap to buy and came with a warning not to take it apart so naturally I did and while fiddly to reassemble was not the worst I have come across. It is heavy for its size but a 1” bull barrel will do that. It is the only .22 I have and I see no need to replace it anytime soon. Sabatti also make some apparently decent shotguns. It may be a 1822, it uses the ruger mags. It is cheap or was as ive already pay for it (a bottle of gin), a lot cheaper than a new magazine or getting my other rifle shortened! impala59
The original 1822 with flush fitting 10 round Ruger mag. Unsighted but with 11mm rail on receiver With a scope fitted and banana magazine Its current form, with shotgun pistol grip, homemade laminated stock with walnut butt plate, homemade extended ambidextrous mag release, alloy tri-rail forend (from some un-named airsoft rifle), ergonomic front angled grip, red dot sight (alternates with scope, the solid rail and mount mean zero is maintained) , barrel clamped forward swing bipod, Banana mag within oversize shroud and moderator. It has always been a solid and accurate rifle, in all its guises Edited February 29, 2020 by impala59
