The overall length is 3". Quite heavy but tubular - Accurate as I have compared it to my other gauges. Nice in the "Man cave" or a in a gun case? £8.00 posted thanks !!SOLD!! When the gauge stops put your thumb nail on the gauge marking the depth of penetration. Take out the gauge (keeping your thumb nail on your mark) and read the choke number appropo to the depth. Easy!
