Dunkield
A .22 rimfire is zero'd at 50 yards bang on with subsonic ammo (1050fps) Roughly how much higher would you expect the POI of a hyper velocity round (1500fps) to be at the same distance? pin
Quarter inch Total guess, I am on the wine again so expect to be proven totally wrong in a second B)
Mungler
Not on the wine but wouldn't expect the drop to be that much over 50 yards. Still expect to be proven wrong by a boffin any second or by PIN when he gets off the grog.
pin
From memory a sub is roughly 7.5" low at 100, however I know it's not linear so I had a guess B)
Dunkield
Where's Nick when you need him eh? Somehow I think it will be more than 1/4" but I don't have the time to test it, so I am guessing as well B)
Dunkield
Well I found out the answer to this on Friday night waiting for lamping partner to turn up. Set a target ut at 50 yards, shot it with Winchester subs to check my zero, then shot it with a Remington Yellow Jacket. And the answer is . . . 3" high and 1" to the left
