Hello all

Looking thru some shooting links and came across this site (Brilliant).I notice a few of you also use the Airgun BBS  :( .

What a wealth of info I have already found on here so far ,I have also made a rotary decoy device which I see a few of you have done,a couple of foam deeks will be on their way soon from N+S shooting supplies to finish it off(Has any one else used these).I am in the middle of testing it at the moment to get maximum battery life

Looking forward to a few discussions

Welcome leafy, its amazing how many people have made their own rotary devices.

I have two of the foam decoys you mention and they are OK.

I also use them on my floaters.

I do try to change them for fresh dead birds, as they become available.

There is no substitute for the real thing, in my opinion. :(

Welcome leafy

Whilst i agree with Cranfield with regards to swopping the deeks on a rotor for the real thing(when poss) some days i have had better results leaving them on, however saying that i reckon its the same as fishing in a way ,if the bait is not presented correctly you wont get a bite,by this i mean that if the dead birds are left with feathers hanging off the or their heads\ wings arn,t quite in the right position it can put off in coming pigeons more than a good quality deek would. this is only my oppinion but it works for me.

regards sutty :what:

Looking thru some pics of rotarys set up ,it looks quite a job to get the pigeons looking half decent as I,ve seen some with feathers sticking out at all angles on some (It would put me off a flypast),maybe a bit of hairspray would do the job :S .Thanks for your replies
