Recommended Posts

A very rare Spotted Crake at Frampton on severn yesterday,...........BTO information suggests only 50-70 breeding pairs in Britain and Ireland.

There was one in an inlet almost in the middle of Grimsby a month ago. Look up the river Freshney.

That is quite an urban river isn't it..........the Frampton bird was in a potato field, alongside the Glos-Sharpness canal.........A male bird, and was still calling at midnight.
