Chard
I shoot with a Beretta 682 Gold E, which I get on very well with, but during shooting the barrel selector switch has a habit of migrating It either slips into no-mans land in the middle, in which case I get a misfire on the second barrel, or it goes all the way over, swapping the order of my barrels, which p***es me off . I am getting into the habit of subconsciously thumbing the switch before each shot, but I do forget sometimes and I obviously shouldn't have to do this. Does anybody know if this is easy to rectify without having my gun in the gunshop for ages?
Catamong
I'd expect that sort of fault with a Bettinsoli or Rizzini, but not with a Gold E. Are you sure you haven't got your thumb on it whilst taking the first shot? If not, they do come with a 10 year guarantee, so take it back to your nearest Gunmark stockist, and they'll sort it for you. Cat.

I thought I might be accidentally swiping it when I move the lever to break open the gun after a shot, but it feels too solid and stiff to move accidentally, it doesn't feel loose or sloppy, which makes me think it's something internal
the last engineer
usualy a weak retainer spring clip, easily fixed, have the shop replace it, it may even have cracked. Martin
