highdowns hunter
Just wondering if anyone has been to Ireland since the big ban on smoking in public and work places has been in place, How are the public reacting to the ban and is trade in bars and resturants being affected
Cranfield
I will be over there fishing from Clew Bay in July. In communication with the Charter Skipper recently, I mentioned the ban. She said that it was generally ignored in the Country pubs. In some of the Town bars, the smokers have a separate room, where the Pub staff don,t enter. The ban is to protect the "Workers" from secondary smoke inhalation, rather than the other customers. Being Ireland, you can be sure they will find a way round the Rules.
