quentyn
HI when one applies for FAC air does one need to apply for a particular calibre ? ie do i apply for .22 FAC air and then i am free to purchase any .22 FAC air rifle ? or does one simply request "FAC air" and then the calibre is free choice ? i am not looking to apply at the moment i am just curious and have my eye on some big bore FAC rifles
Ultrastu
You need to apply for the specific calibre and a specific moderator in the calibre if you want one So thats 2 slots on your ticket . I have .177 .22 .25 guns and .177 .22 .25 moderators .so 6 slots

Ultrastu
You need to provide good reason over suitable land for the calibre you want and also good reason for the moderator in that calibre . So a. 35 would generally be not suitable to shoot squirrels out of trees in your back garden . But could be ideal (suitable ) to shoot foxes with good backstops where a very quiet approach maybe needed . (Near houses for example at night )
