Dave at kelton
I have two old 10’ 6” powerloop rods and want to add a fighting butt extension effectively turning them into a double handed rod. There is a threaded hole in the reel seat with screw in cap. I cannot work out what the thread is. It does not appear to be the standard 3/8 BSF. Does anyone know or have one of these extensions? Alternatively I guess it is a case of getting the thread copied in a piece of aluminium rod to form the handle around. Thanks Dave

Shimano but I bought these about twenty years + ago. Used them mostly on Farmoor but want to use them up here for salmon.
