Magpies are gay
Is a Pre-charged FAC, a section 1 fire arm now? i know it includes rimfire and center fire! But becuase of the new laws, they say you need a FAC for pre-charged, even if it is 12ft/lbs! But what im asking is about 12ft/lbs+ on a pre-charged?!?! Hope that makes sence!!! deny essex
The new laws dont apply to rifles or pistols with air reservoirs , bottles or springs , only the likes of the pre-charged Brocock style guns where the discharge arrangement is much like a real bullet case, has the comprssed air in it and the pellet, the criminal whizz's seem to be able to make the guns fire proper ammo. no licence required for air weapons under 12 ft ilbs and yes above that a firearms certificate unless i am reading it wrong. ernyha
What exactly is a" Pre-Charged FAC?"
Hammergun
By a "pre-charged FAC", I assume you mean a pre-charged air rifle over 12lbf. It has only ever been a section 1 firearm. A pre-charged is only a pre-charged FAC if it is over 12lbf. Self-contained gas cartridge air weapons (such as Brococks) are the only ones affected by the new laws. Standard pre-charged air weapons (with air reservoir) are unaffected.
