Boiler gone wrong

Boiler went up the tubes last night, after further investigation the heat exchanger has gone.

 

Can't get one for a week with a total cost of 318.00 + Vat + carriage. Total of £382.50, and thats without fitting.

 

I am therefore starting a 'Starlight Boiler fund' where PW watch members can assist each other in their time of need. So if any underserving charities such as Age concern, Immigration or animal rights groups canvas your front door tonight- Please get your priorities correct.

 

I would like to be the forerunner in this new addition to pigeonwatch, just to see if it takes off.

 

Please be quick as I just finished burning the first of my wife's wardrobe.

I`m due to get my old boiler changed, in a month or so, to a brand new shiny condensing boiler B) Just over £600+ VAT + fitting by a corgi reg. mate.

 

For £13 a month I could have Scottish Gas Homecare 100, to look after my boiler and controls............Hmmmmmm.

 

I don`t have much spare folding stuff at the moment but if I win the lottery I will send you some coal

ill be the first to donate then in your days of need as much firewood as you need to keep warm and cook on in the shape of a bloody big pear tree and ya can have some pears aswell only catch is ya have to come chop it down and take it away.
