wymberley
All I know about this is that it will vary with powder type. Accepting that and just going for a ballpark figure could one of our loaders kindly give me an approximate weight for a lead 1425 ft/sec 20 bore 25g load and also a 1350ft/sec 12 bore 28g load? I took a flyer and guessed 20 - close enough for my needs and I really hadn't a clue.
Guest cookoff013
Dont go by charge weight, sometimes not all the powder burns and is left as ash. Here is an example of some differences. 12-70mm ba10 15grain gets 1300fps at 500odd bar. 12-70mm Vectan AS 21grain gets 1300fps at 600odd bar One is 1000 shells /kg the other alot less. AS is meant to be fast!
