Feltwad Posted May 8, 2021 Report Share Posted May 8, 2021 Most were standard shot charge of 1. 1/16 oz those from Friar St were mostly paper roll turnover and those from 37 Nelson Street which were much later were plastic and a crimp closure both have setters on them . I used to buy my Curtiss and Harvey black powder there price was 7 shilling and sixpence a lb I also bought my shot from the Newcastle manufactures called Associated Lead Manufactures at Elswiick works that cost me 6 pound a cwt delivered.
