Latest Microsoft update/Bing hijack.

I auto updated my PC Friday night and yesterday noticed that , although I had Google set as my Home Page and default Search engine, Bing had taken over.
Plus there was a Microsoft popup appearing every time I started my PC asking me to, "use recommended browser settings".
I just ignored this.
Searching Google all I could find relating to a Bing takeover was a possible Browser Hijack, I ran two Malware scans and they found nothing.

This morning a friend in the US sent me this article, Microsoft Edge 91 brings new bugs and annoying popup messages (bleepingcomputer.com)
He also suggested not to ignore the Microsoft pop up, but to select not to alter browser settings.
I did this and the Bing takeover ceased.

Just a heads up for anyone else who finds themselves in the same mess.
