Gun Watch Posted June 1, 2021 Report Share Posted June 1, 2021 Kestrel Sidelock £0 12 gauge Shotgun Private Seller Used - Excellent Condition Wellingborough, Northamptonshire Side by Side, 1/4 Choke, 1/2 Choke, - barrels Description Kestrel sidelock dated 1984 27 1/2†barrels Ejector. 14 1/2â€pull to first trigger 2 3/4†chambers 14 & 1/2 choke - unaltered from new Weighs exactly 6 1/2lb Barrels have been re blued in the past to an excellent standard It is a lovely nostalgic gun but i just can’t get used to a side by side so needs to go. Bores are immaculate. Can fail to eject if you don’t push the top leaver far enough when opening the gun, if your positive with the lever the empties fly every time!!!! Im looking for a semi or O\U 20bore to replace it as Im more likely to hit stuff with one barrel to look down! Anyone up for a swap?
