deadeye ive
As the title suggests They are on offer at the moment for £25 + PP but I can't seem to find any info to height ,adjustment range etc! and over the years I have built up a good collection of once used gear without adding more to it . So any feed back from shooters who have and use this particular model would be most grateful
tulkyuk
I have got these - bipod sticks though, they are fantastic and i use em every time i go out with the rifle . you can adjust them from a sitting position to a full standing height i would now buy a tri-pod set as they are more steardy to shoot off
chunk
Spot on mate. I use mine most of the year, standing right down to prone. Get the tripod one rather that the single or bipod. You can always take a leg or two off for a change. After a while it becomes second nature to deploy the legs and take a standing shot. Dunkield
I gave up trying to deploy tripod sticks and went for bipod, but tripod will give you more stable shooting platform. It just takes a bit of practice to deploy them quickly and quietly.

lazza
I've also got those. A friend of mine has got the same and suggested that I wrap a bit of electrical tape around the screws, as they can come loose. As usual, I took no notice and one fell out and I lost it. Needless to say I now have some electrical tape around the screws. I also took the strap rest off, as it annoyed the **** out of me.

Goldfish
2 X 6 foot lengths of hazel or willow held together with an elastic strap. No cost and no screws to come loose
chunk
Where are these on sale? Would be interested myself as been thinking about some for a while Jerry Most of the big shops like sportsmans sell them. In different guises; David Nickersons are similar, the bushwear catalogue have a nice cammo set.

invector
I made a good bipod out of some redundant, adjustable, pigeon hide poles, a bungee and with some pipe lagging, suitable taped to the top.
Browning
To make your bipods more stable, try tying a length of slim rope around the hinge point. Make it long enough so you can tie a loop in the other end. Then all you have to do is stand on the looped end and you have a tri-pod. I find this just as stable as my mates tri-pod, but without the hassle of deploying three legs.
davo
I think a couple of 'Blue Peter' badges should be on order for you two.... .
caeser
I have the X3M1 tripod and I find it is superb. There no weight ot it at all. You soon get used to setting it up quickly without thinking. But ! like someone has already said the screws do have a tendency to come out, so I just put some loctite on the thread and it's been great since. Also I think the idea of removing the top strap sounds good. I never thought about that before, but I know what he means about it being a pain. Perhaps just a tad too short. But I'd recommend it anyway.
