7daysinaweek
A tasty trio WU. Will they be roasted; are these from you day out with your boy, and If so, did he enjoy himself?
WalkedUp
These are a mixture of yesterday with my boy and today with my pal (I shot the teal on the tide). Interesting three days, shot only ground game on turnip (rabbit, hare, squirrel) then next day in woodland (pheasant, woodcock, woodpigeon) and then today on the foreshore (teal, mallard, shoveler, pink foot). WalkedUp
My eldest boys (aged 6&5) had stir fry to start then the four birds between them as their main. They loved them, now just four tiny carcasses left for stock. My middle son has food aversions (which we ignore) so refused the stir fry. I laughed with my wife that for a self-proclaimed fussy eater today he’s had pineapple, teal, wood pigeon and woodcock. Eldest son’s highlight was shouting “look daddy, I found the bullet that killed it!”
7daysinaweek
What a interesting few days shooting and certainly a good variety. It is great to see your kids getting stuck into the game and enjoying your spoils. Excellent stuff!
