morgan Posted April 8, 2023 Report Share Posted April 8, 2023 I met him once as a youngster. He was a friendly and kindly chap who was clearly interested in having a chat with us. I think his wife brought us over to talk to him. Remember discussing tactics for shooting sitting pigeons out of cherry trees with an airgun with him 😊 Think that was the heyday of the shooting times with many high quality writers and countrymen.
