I have spoken to Martin Cavie and we are meeting up at his shoot in Tiptree / Tolleshunt next Sunday 7th October.

I suggest a meet up at the A12 Shenfield / Hutton roundabout for a Macca's at 08:45hrs.

We need to meet at the shoot for approx 9:30hrs for a 10am start.

The losers "Gaylord" leather biker cap will be awarded to be worn at Monday madness.... :good::lol:

OK,

So this is definately a goer. Meet up at the Macca's on the A12 Hutton / Shenfield turn off on Sunday at 08:45hrs.

Down to Tiptree/Tollesbury shoot for 09:30hrs for 10:00 start.

This sems like a cunning plan, especially seeing as how I was going to be shooting Lakenheath BASC team shoot, but have missed the cut off for entries. FG.22 and FB111 were coming to shoot so could be interesting.

Is it meet up for a 10am start??

MC give me a ring to discuss.

I thought more people would have posted about this morning, especially mungler as he did beat me on home turf.

It was good to meet up with some more of the Essex Boys and have a shoot. I am not sure who took the score cards but I finished with 38/50 which is about average for me shooting there.

There was nothing particularly hard just not shooting consistently. Something to do with a bottle and a bit of Pinot Grigio and some Fursty Ferret last night :good:

Thanks to Martin Cavie for hosting this mornings shooting activity. :good: SS has the scores to be posted later today. The postings are only quiet until Mung returns from his family party this afternoon - make the most of it !

I was 35/50 which is exactly the same as I got last time I shot there. I could blame the bottle of Rioja and 3 pints of Staropramen from last night but that would make me sound like a right homo ! :w00t:

Nice to see "The Bagsy Boys" again, I will PM everyone and we'll get some emails going to sort out some more regular meet-ups.

Thanks LV for saying that the fact I had a hangover makes me sound like a homo :good:

only pulling your leg mate ! (I actually find I shoot better with a hangover, more aggressive and think less)

tip top morning :good:

Great day out and very pleased to issue a sound thrashing to all concerned.

Those deepest Essex and Suffolk boys will need to get some extra padding for the next time - might I suggest a trip to the library and something more substantial than the Thompson local.

Incidentally, Martin do you know what score won the day - I reckon a 46/50 would have done it.

I should add that it was a well thought out shoot, manual traps notwithstanding. Wouldn't mind doing it again and it was only 25 mins away.

When Jamie posts the scores you will see that the Bagsy brigade are a bit on the tastey side.

Cheers for a good day lads, great shoot hosted by MC made even better by the bunch we met and shot with  Never have I seen rabbits flying at 10ft before, brilliant!!

We got back quite late having navigated Essex for some well earned scoff, ended up taking in the sights at Maldon prom with some fish & chips having given the lads the tour de Bamber through D'arcy ;)

Thanks again must go to MC, LV, Mungler, Evil Elvis, SS and the rest of the guys - it was a pleasure!
