Hi All.

I finally ventured out on Saturday morning armed with just my hide gear, a seat and my cameras.

:good::/

:good:

We set off with me filming in the passenger seat and on the way out to our shoots I get a phone call from one of my farmers saying the crows were battering his newly sewn wheat.

Arrived at the farm and took the long hike to the field in question and sets up 2 hides one for the SHOOTERS and one for steven spielberg.(yours truly)

Alan had to nip off and so it left myself and Alex on the field waiting for the birds to come back.

Slowly the blackies started to arrive and then for the next 2hours or so all I could do was watch and film the action.

First 2 or 3 were missed on the trot and after a bit of p**s taking by me; the lad settled down.

The rooks and magpies just kept coming in, wave after wave and there were some lovely double and triple-deckers shot by the lad and when Alan came back to see what all the banging was about I had to tell him about 50+ had been shot.

I carried on filming and we ended up with 69 blackies and 1 solitary pigeon.

They said what a great day it had been and now I know what "GREEN WITH ENVY MEANS"

:blink: :sick: :sick:

The video and still pictures have turned out very good and I can see a lot of editing being carried out by myself to compile 1-2 dvd's.

In time for XMAS hopefully.

:lol:

I can see me getting very p****d off in the next 2 months or so.

But, THAT'S LIFE as they say.
