twelvebore
In the warmer month I run my Pajero on about 30 - 40% veg oil. But from this month on I have to cut it back to a max of 10%, and every third or fourth tank is neat diesel. The problem I get in the colder months is that after starting it will only tick-over for a few minutes, doesn't matter what I do with the throttle, it just ticks !!! Zapp
How legal is this, lets say that you get pulled over and have your tank dipped, do you get a fine for using cooking oil?, like you would if you were to use tax free fuel (gas oil)?? Biff It is completely legal as long as you classify as a "small producer". What this means is that you must use less than 2500 litres a year. I use around 1900 litres, and drive around 13000 miles a year. Hope this helps ZB

Failing that, join one of them and ask the question. Just be ready for the usual land rover bores to waste their time telling you that your car is **** and theirs is great, before heading outside to continue the unending maintenance on their vehicles. Hope this helps ZB Oops, I meant to hit edit and hit reply with quote instead...
