richie1606
Did anyone else see the one show tonight on BBC 1? The had an article about a guy from Yorkshire rat catching using two dogs. They were trying to compare what he was doing to hare coursing and hunting foxes with dogs. They were trying to make out what he was doing was illegal even though it wasn't and tried their best to show it in bad taste. All he was doing was providing a farmer with a service to control the rat population. I think it was yet another ploy to show country life in a bad light and keep the anti hunting townies happy. Ballymac
Well Jamie Oliver tried to balance things a little on C4. Showed him shooting and cooking the birds, and even saying that these birds had a far better life etc etc, so not all bad on the publicity front. myuserid
I watched The One Show, I thought he did a good job in that article as he cleared up some very important facts and in the end he could see why people like it. One of the facts was that hunting with dogs is banned, which even I thought was the case (apart from northern Ireland) as I have seen a few people go to court over their dog chasing and killing moles etc.
