enfieldspares
For Sale - Cabinet Clearout: This is a Belgian, cross bolt and top extension, 65mm chamber, old school "wet weather pigeon, duck or hare gun" (when lead was, or is, still lawful for wildfowl). The sort of gun you'd shoot the 2 1/2" case length Eley Grand Prix HV 1 1/8 ounce or Eley Maximum 1 3/16 ounce load through. 30" barrels, 15 1/4" length of pull, weight 7lbs 3 ozs. Choke is, I think, about 1/2 and 1/2. Gun is a non-ejector and the wood although plain is pleasing to the eye with an Anson rod fastening to the fore end and a bakelite or similar type black plastic butt plate. £45.00 collect from near J21A of the M1 - Use LE9 2AL as a rough location guide. It will come with twenty Lylavale 30 grams plastic case fibre wad English #5 lead shot cartridges. Extra cartridges of the same can be bought at the same time for £5 per twenty up to two lots or so. enfieldspares
Thank you GORDONR for the comment. Sad to say of course after the input of BASC regarding lead shot 2 1/2" chamber BLNE guns don't have a long future ahead unless perhaps for clay pigeon side by side competitions in which case this gun would excel with its heavier (but not too heavy) weight.
