wooden tool/knife magnet

Not made one but have handled a couple, they appear to be reamed out in back so only circa 2 mm to 3mm of wood is present to the front, they then have 4mm thick, 40mm x 10mm N52 neobydium bar magnets in back.

I tried a 48mm diameter and 5mm thick n35 round magnet (larger area and weaker magnet) through 2.5mm of folded paper (simulated wood) and it held my Nessmuk (260g), most kitchen knives should be considerably lighter.

Possibly order 1 magnet and experiment before ordering enough to stretch length of the wood?
