old man
We try to meet up as often as we can to make some noise and chat ****e with noise. Sorry you couldn't make it G. Anyway I needed to pull the scope back on the 410 Extra and test a few different pellets against AA field in .22. Of the tested, running at 30ftlb the Borner 12.18grn hollow point and the Barracuda Hunter Extreme 18.52grn did not suit it. I also unusually had the odd few flyers out to 1 1/2" wide with the AA field that were unusual? A bit concerning? Of real interest were the JSB Exact lead free 11.75grn in 5.52. They shot a reasonable 3/4" at 43 yds from a poorly set up rest. The penetration was also superb through 5/8" marine ply. I will run them through Chair gun when have time to see if any advantage tree rat wise? Does anyone use these lead frees? Flyboys re crowned rifles showed a vast improvement down to 1 MOA

Call me somewhat obsessed with ammunition but I have been known to roll pellets on a piece of glass looking for the 10 out of 500 that are not quite right or possibly, like any of us can have, you had a day where you just did not squeeze as well as you usually would?
