Anthony 666 Posted May 13, 2023 Report Share Posted May 13, 2023 Nice early start this morning out for first light had a bit of a chat with farmer day before they'd be working around the farm over the next few days bit of maintenance going on said there's still a few crow's dropping into the sheep fields around the troughs problem with these fields is there's only one thats any good to me thats got a bit cover close enough for sub 12 distances hide up front of trough 36 yards back of trough 39 yards shove a stick in the ground practice a few shots and good to go not the best of days sun's soon up not a cloud in the sky very slight breeze its a good 20 minutes before the first visitor and the JSB exact 177 8.44gr gets the first in the bag with a lovely head shot quickly out to retrieve it get settled quick cupa and ready for the next they are few and far between one of them day's sky looks void of life bit to nice of a day good to feel the warmth of the sun anyway next one in quickly gets the same treatment set this one up as a decoy about 5 yards from trough see if we can pull a few in seems to take forever for the next down and with long gaps in-between shots l soon call it maybe next outing with be more productive should of finished work around farm hopefully well seven bird's visited downed five and gave two a haircut Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
