Mint cremes

Farmer who lets me shoot a few nice roe and doesn’t take any coinage from me asked me to buy him a jar of old fashioned mint cremes - I remember them in white and green wrappers and were mint crème circle with a white crisp coating.

Any idea where can order any from?

Were they/are they not known as Clarnico creams?

Spot on! Clarnico mint creams. As opposed to chocolate covered peppermint creme. Owned now by Bassetts so you might see them in a supermarket.

You can also get a French brand called Lutti that do a peppermint fondant. Lutti Menthise.

Search “Mint Cream”, instead of “Creme”. Quite a few come up.

I know how to spell but I was sure that is the spelling the manufacturer used to use .
