Sussex Countryman Posted June 17, 2023 Report Share Posted June 17, 2023 Apprentice Underkeeper - West Sussex A position has become available for an Apprentice Underkeeper on a Privately owned Shooting Estate in West Sussex. No experience needed just a willingness to learn and work in a clean and tidy environment. - The applicant must have a clean driving licence due to job not currently coming with accommodation but this is possible in the future for the right candidate - Shot gun and firearms would be beneficial but we can help with the application process. - Applicants must be ambitious, hardworking, driven individuals who can arrive on time and are honest! - Must be able to work well alone and amoungst a team - Happy to attend college on a block basis (employer potentially can cover boarding costs for the right candidate) You will only be required to work from 9am-5pm Mon-Friday (with the only addition being shoot days which would all be Saturdays) with relevant breaks and will be paid above the minimum apprenticeship wage. We don’t want a dogs body, we want someone who wants to learn and aid someone wishing to pursue this career and that doesn’t happen paying peanuts. Other work benefits are available.
