codling99 Posted October 29, 2007 Report Share Posted October 29, 2007 personally ,i shoot rabbits for sport rather than food,i find tesco quite good for food me.not that anything i shoot,catch or kill is wasted,cos i feed them to my ferrets or dogs,or neighbours have them for food,i very rarely eat my kills anymore,might eat the odd bird ,never eat bunnies anymore.at the moment my freezer in my shed is full of bunnies,pigeon,the odd squirrel,and loads of fillets of different types of fish,darent waste anything me. One is an inanimate disc designed to be shot at. The other is a sentinent being capable of feeling pain which deserves our respect as a quarry species not just something we shoot for sport.
