30-6
Has anybody used Vintage Cash Cow ? Are the prices fair ? Seems an easy way to sell old stuff that you no longer need.
Keith 66
I looked at it when disposing of stuff left by my parents & did not bother. Basically it is the antiques equivalent of We buy any car, prices you will be offered are rock bottom low. Its another by product of the antiques & old tat industry. When mum was on her last legs in hospital i visited Lancaster antiques market, Its in the old cattle market & comprises hundreds of small units in hall after vast hall covering many acres. It struck me as i wandered through there that all the customers were middle aged or older & that the place was filled with hundreds of tons of junk that basically nobody wants. Ultimately all destined for land fill. If you have anything nice, do your research find out about it & you may be lucky, somewhere there will be a specialist forum or group on facebook. There you may get your highest price. Private sale is best, or at auction if you can stomach the commission & fees.
