ditchman Posted January 11 Report Share Posted January 11 does anyone still make "a rice salad"......i was lucky enough to go to BBQ's in the late 60's and 70's....and there was all the usual meat ..and pototoe salad and fries.....but i used to enjoy a rice salad ...made up from chopped green pepper...red pepper....onion...cucumber (skinned and de-seeded)...carrot...chives. soaked raisons..and SALAD CREAM mixed it all up together last time i made it was in the summer when i have a salad speaking to one of my young mates on the phone the other day ...told him...he thought it was weird anyone still do a rice sald ..??
