SteveieP Posted November 8, 2007 Report Share Posted November 8, 2007 The idea is to get the lowest mounts you can, with the objective lens clearing the receiver, breach or any other metalwork. That way you get the most latitude in terms still being "on target" for a distance both before & beyond your zero. All I can say is when you look down the scope & things look smaller, don't pull the friggin' trigger cos you're about to shoot yourself in the gob & you're holding the gun by the dangerous end.
