jonno 357
As in the title Is the Winter harvest list out for the NPPC yet ? Did anyone get to shoot on the drillings, or isn't that allowed with NPPC?Hope so cos the OSR is coming on nicely now. Not seen any pigeons feeding on it yet though Jonno
Country Boy
# If you wuz a member lemy you would know?! There is a part list out. Yes we did got on some drillings but trouble is its not always convenient for us shooters and of course they soon dry up (the drillings)! But there's lots of VSP - OSR about that's not coming on so nicely and with some very interested stoggies I must say!! The OSR you are watching must be a good crop 5"or 6" high or more eh? It will need lots of fosty mornings and some snow to flatten it a bit and let the stoggies in!!! Cheerio C.B. :}

P.Shuter
Now then jonno are you still having a whinge -- "where's the list" -- that's all you ever do but I did'nt think you were still in the NPPC? All that whingeing ~ you never went out when you were in (I sound like a cricket commentator ) I've been working away for 15 months but home recently, been out on some late drillings yesterday near Selby Oh by the way VSP = very short plants! Pete. "where's the list" Donno where you got this quote from, but it ain't from me "that's all you ever do but I did'nt think you were still in the NPPC" I have never posted this question before muppet Why would you think I wasn't in NPPC or not? You don't know who I am? I posted the question for someone who doesn't have internet access to find out if the winter list is out. Evidently it isn't because I got a PM from another NPPC member telling me the isn't a list out Nothing sinister about the question. If you don't ask you don't get to know- its that simple Jonno

Country Boy
Today I managed to shoot 11 stoggies and 2 rabbits, I thoroughly enjoyed the day, firing a box of cartridges, I had a pleasant chat with a farm worker and I had my usual canine company. In comparison my brother went pheasant shooting, he shot 6 articles for about 20 shots, but had to get a taxi home (30miles away) because he'd drunk a fair bit after the pub meal, he said it was worth it as he had been in good company The day cost him £200.00+ not counting another journey(1.5hours) tomorrow to retrieve his car We've lost the thread now, what was it something about a list, oh yes I remember my wife gave me a shopping list but I stayed too long in the field and did'nt have time to complete it now she is not speaking to me, isn't pigeon shooting wonderful!
