P08
I have just got hold of a H368, The first thing we always do is strip down, inspect, clean, I have tried all I can to pull the bolt handle from the bolt, I know it suggests using a shotgun cartridge rim to pry the handle loose, it aint going to happen believe me, The handle is in the centre of the slot cut out in the breach block, I have tried a piece of string on the handle wrapped around a piece of wood, giving it a good yank, no luck, This system of getting the bolt handle released is not new to me, I have a Franchi, I tie a bit of string on the handle centre the handle and give it a yank always comes out, any ideas? Stephen-H
Wrap the bolt handle in electrical tape to protect it & then use a set of pliers on it I had to do this on my franchi
P08
Yes could be an idea, later I will try to use the rim of a rifle cartridge, place the rim were the grove is on the charging handle, a metal bar in the cartridge see if I can lever it out . P08
I wrapped some soft thin leather around the handle, pulled it off with mole grips, Fabarm say use the rim of a cartridge case to pry the handle off, no luck with me, but I filed the slot were they say put the rim, a .303 cartridge has a much bigger rim, job done.
