Dutchman asking for info

Recommended Posts

Hello. Under UK the shooting of woodpigeons is covered by a General Licence. The old, long missed, days of going out and shooting a pigeon for the pot have long gone. Therefore all shooting of woodpigeon must be done under the terms of "crop protection". Therefore you'll need to either be invited by a farmer to help out with that as lawful control by shooting or go under the invitation of someone who themselves have been invited by a farmer to help out with that by providing people willing to do that. So the first action might be to have contacts you know local to that area ask about.

I shoot on the Norfolk / Suffolk border and you will have plenty of stubble fields to go on as the harvest is nearer to the end than it is at the start , Yes there are Pigeons about but don't expect very high numbers as there is unlimited feed on many fields , are you bringing your own gear , or is the agent supplying it ? how long are you coming over for ? and where about's in Suffolk are you going ?

You can P M me if you wish rather than name names :good:
